Roles and Responsibilities

§ Worked on a project- Retention of existing customers of Greaves Cotton Pvt. Ltd. Company in Mumbai Territory.
§ The project involved understanding preferences and satisfaction level of customers.
§ To find out pitfalls of the product and to suggest proper remedies for the same.
§ Prepared questionnaire, surveyed and collected response of 100 customers and evaluated it.
§ Analyzed the problems faced by customers of Greaves, reasons behind shifting to competitor and providing them alternate solutions and reporting back to the Regional Manager.
§ CRM system can be an efficient tool for communication and maintaining relationships with existing customers and also for retaining them.

Achievements

§ Results of the survey were that majority of the customers of Greaves are not new and the number of customers shifting out to competitor is not alarming and can be brought in control.
§ Cummins India Ltd., is the market leader in auxiliary power market followed by Kirlosker Ltd., and Greaves Cotton Ltd., respectively.
§ Greaves does not manufactures gensets having capacity more than 500Kva also it does not provide installation facility along with the product, these are the major problems faced by the customers.
§ Also there is no proper communication of any new product or service launched by Greaves to its existing customers.



POSITION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Placement Leader and Co-ordinator in college(SFIMAR).
§ Called Companies (30-40 companies a day)
§ Visited companies for distributing college brochures.
§ Negotiated with companies the pay-package.
§ Organized in/off campus placements.
§ Coordinated with a team of placement coordinators from all the specializations.
§ Increase of 10% in the number new companies that visited campus compared to previous year.


Chief of Organising Committee
§ Organized and coordinated an Edutainment event ‘Purani Jeans’ during 2010 in which 500+ people were present.
§ Led and worked with a team of 30+ people and delegated responsibilities evenly amongst the team members.
§ Was Responsible for bringing in sponsorships for the event.
§ Was Responsible for creating awareness of the event in other colleges as well as carrying out online promotions on social media websites.
§ The result was a huge presence of audience which was just above of the forecasted number for one of its kind event, timely management of event within the budget.
§ The event ‘Purani Jeans’ itself has become a brand and is being organized every year since then attracting good amount of audience and sponsors each year.



Events Organiser and co-ordinator

§ Coordinated in organizing International level research paper writing event ‘PATH’ in SFIMAR, Mumbai.
§ Increase in number of participants of Tier 1 colleges which was not seen before. Also overall increase of about 20% in the number of participants for the event.
§ Organized Blood Donation camp in coordination with Borivali blood bank in SFIMAR.
§ Raised number of participants by 25% over last year.
§ Coordinated in a social event ‘WALKATHON’ for creating awareness for eye pledging to support ‘Blindness Reduction Campaign’, SFIMAR.
§ Not only students of our college pledged for eye donation but also a number people from general public pledged for it due the impact from the road shows and skids performed in public places.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Guitaring
§ Performed as a lead guitarist with the college band in the edutainment event ‘Purani Jeans’ during BBA (2010)

§ Performed a solo guitar on school re-union at St.Xavier’s high school.



Social Work
§ Participated in the blood donation camp by donating blood.

§ Participated in the social event ‘Walkathon’ for creating awareness for eye donation.

§ Did road shows for the ‘Walkathon’ event.


ACADEMIC PROJECTS

§ New product development- Developed a new advanced data base management system called ‘Moodle’
§ The new data base management system helped the college in reducing its huge expenses on the current data base management system
§ I contributed in negotiating for a good deal with a software developer to develop our ‘Moodle’ data base management system; also I was responsible for educating the students on the use of the ‘moodle’ system.


§ Entrepreneurial project - Drafted a business plan for an entrepreneurial project with all new home made chocolate- ‘ChocoFest’ .
§ The product was focused on providing the customers with a healthy, nutritious and affordable home made dark chocolate.
§ I contributed by developing the Brand name ‘ChocoFest’ and designing the promotion pamphlets and cover for it.
